Wednesday's Review

For those of you who didn't join us for the Wednesday cycle, heres the graph from my gadget. Note the green spike at 22.5 miles, that was 400ft. of Streatley Hill (looking down it). We were gunna grab a photo of our selves but the weather was far from sunny so we gave it a miss. Next time we do it, I'll take some snaps as well as a video.

For those who were interested in doing the BUCS Hillclimbing Championships, Streatley Hill was roughly half the difficulty, definitely good enough to train on mind.

Course Summary

  • Total Distance: 39.44 miles
  • Total Time: 2:44 hrs (-30 mins for robs puncture)
  • Average Pace: 4.10 mins/mile
  • Average Speed: 14.4 mph
  • Max. Speed: 36 mph
  • Total Ascent/Descent: 1775 ft
  • Max Ascent: 424 ft

Club T-Shirts - Out Soon!

Great news guys, the new RUCC polo shirts have been ordered (as depicted above) - consists of a white Fruit of the Loom Polo shirt with the RUCC stitched on the breast (no crappy print which goes crispy over time). They'll take around a week to be completed so I'll ping out another post with a photo of them for your viewing pleasure. If you would like to pre-order one please let
either myself or Rob know ASAP! - they're in limited supply since we're currently testing out designs.

If you think the above designs are rubbish and you have own ideas for a t-shirt, please do send them to us!
